ATTENTION give, brave volunteers, New-Jersey Fourth, I mean, To-day you 're in the army here, To view uncommon scenes.
You have left your homes and families,
And enlisted in the cause, To join the Union army,
And protect our country's laws.
All things are nearly ready,
And we soon expect to meet Those Rebels who have trampled
Our flag beneath their feet. |
